Posted - 22 August 2008 : 14:45:02 Hello,
I went bankrupt in Nov 07 and due to be automatically discharged in Nov 08. All of my bank accounts were frozen, apart from a Joint Account that I have with Nationwide, hich also has her name on it.
My question is....I am in my overdraft by £200 (prior to going bankrupt) and now I am paying it back as I thought it was frozen but it's not. When i pay back the overdraft, do you think I will still be able to use the account? If not my card, maybe my mum's card?
Because I only have an Abbey Cash Card at the mo, and I cannot do direct debits which i need to be able to do....so having use of my Nationwide card again would be brilliant....
Thank you |

Posted - 22 August 2008 : 15:17:45 Hi if they have not frozen the account and not removed your name from it, try a test with the debit card for a small amount once the O/D is repaid, maybe for just £1, and see what happens.
