Posted - 05 February 2010 : 09:50:08 My daughter has bought the BI in our car and is now technically the legal owner. I am still the registered keeper and will be using it all the time, does anyone know whether I have to inform my insurance company of this fact?

Posted - 05 February 2010 : 10:09:29 I would check the fine print on the policy very, very carefully as insurances companies will do anything to get out of paying out after an accident.
Having said that they are only normally interested in the register keeper of the vehicle but I would still check the policy.
You should also check to see if there are any BR clauses in the policy as well as there can be with some companies.
