Posted - 08 February 2010 : 09:53:55 It should not cause a problem, I worked for many years in the Insolvency Service Department of the Civil Service, the part which actually deals with bankruptcy, and had staff file for bankruptcy - it did not cause them any employment issues. But for your own peice of mind ring your HR section, you do not have to give your name, just ask hypothetically, that way you will be safe in the knowledge your employment will be safe.
