Posted - 22 May 2010 : 18:11:30 I would ask your branch what their policy is. I was told by Lloyds that although they didn't generally allow undischarged BRs an account I would be able to keep mine.

Barclays have tobe informed, although they will find out about BR Anway, they shut all accounts down so you would need to go in a reopen it after BR, Thats what my branch manager told me anyway
Best of Luck

Posted - 21 May 2010 : 12:55:52 Hi,
I agree - the Co-op are really BR friendly and you can do most things with the account - direct debits have salaries, payments made into the account.
Good luck, Richard

Posted - 21 May 2010 : 12:01:07 If it is a basic bank account then it should be OK.
If in any doubt open a Co op Cashminder account prior to bankruptcy. That will certainly be OK.
