Posted - 09 July 2010 : 18:16:09 Hi. I have been discharged from my bankruptcy since oct 2008 and have written several letters to 2 creditors involvrd in the case to mark my file as "satisfied". They neither have replied or done as they shuld have done. I am trying to get my life back on track, but 2 accounts marked as "default" and with the amount owed shown, make life extremely difficult. Surely this cannot be right? Bankruptcy should give you a clean sheet, regardless of whether your realised assets covered all debts? Why am I being stymied in my eforts to rebuild my life?

Posted - 10 July 2010 : 22:20:12 Even if they do comply and mark your credit file as 'satified' or 'partially satisfied' your file won't be clear until the BR drops off, 6 years after the date of the BR order.
