Posted - 03 August 2010 : 17:41:23 I was declared bankrupt in June this year, my husband wants to file a divorce, and wants me to pay for it. Due to the bankruptcy is there any way i dont have to pay for the divorce?

Are the DIY divorces online ok to do? like £40 and it just means you have to do the forms yourself etc.. which i dont mind doing?

Posted - 03 August 2010 : 18:38:54 Your husband may want you to pay for it but you only half to pay half usually. Only exception tends to be if you commited adultery? It needn't be expensive & you can do it without solicitors.
