Posted - 07 August 2010 : 22:09:39 Iwent bankrupt in aug 2004, so its now been y years. What happens to credit files after the 6 years are they wiped clean with no trace of bankruptcy?

Posted - 08 August 2010 : 14:02:37 the bankruptcy would disapear 6 years from the start (the day you went to court).
You are still required to tell someone you were bankrupt if they specifically ask (if they dont you dont have to)this lasts forever

with regards to letting agents would we now pass a letsure check, or can they still find out of previous history
