Some debts were registered at my mum's address and some at my partner's (where I was living at the time) and neither of them have had any problems getting credit since I went BR.

I'm glad it all went well at court x

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

Thanks for info. I was concerned that it might come up against our address. By the way, for anyone about to go to court, I was amazed how helpful everyone was especially the judge, he was brilliant. It was far less scarey than we thought it would be.X

Hi Maria,

It's probably not necessary unless you have any joint lending with your son as you won't be financially associated with him anyway.

If you find you have problems, you need to log onto experian, equifax and callcredit and there are letters on there that you can print, or phone them and ask them to send you them.

After my IVA, my husband was not affected at all so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
