Posted - 19 January 2012 : 15:13:00 I am married and have debts that are all mine. I have 2 properties with my husband that we rent out. I was wondering if i could sign these houses over to him and go bankrupt. So he won't lose the house's. He has paid for the house's put the deposits down and i have ran all the debt up. I don't think our relationship will hold together if his lose's everthing he's worked for. Can anyone give me any advice ??

Posted - 19 January 2012 : 15:39:55 Hi Alex, you won't be able to sign the houses over to him before bankruptcy as they can just reverse the transaction. I suggest you speak to an expert regarding this and your situation as the properties may be at risk.
