Posted - 09 March 2012 : 09:48:11 Morning Sandra.el. If you have more than £20 Disposable Income(DI)then the OR will take it all, plus the £20. I know that you can be allowed a small amount of emergency money, I think we were allowed £10 but I'm not sure about £20 for presents for your Granddaughter.! It can seem to vary from area to area so it might be a 'wait & see' matter. It all seems so harsh, I struggled with not being able to buy gifts for my family but it had to be done. They all understood when i told them that 'things are very tight financially' but it was so hard to do. Maybe one of the experts can clarify what else you can included on the form. I know it is very overwhelming at this point so take your time and keep popping onto here for assistance, Good Luck.
