Posted - 17 November 2008 : 22:50:16 May sound like a silly question but I really don't know. What is classed as a valuble asset I.E. Kids Wii, Toys ect Living table, book shelf, Sofas ect
Also I am confused still about bank accounts IE when to open as we need access to our wages for living expenses.
My car is needed from work and the credit is with Nissan finance and is worth less that what is owed.
Do they come around to check your assets
What should I put down for what the debts were spent on
Plaese advise on the above or anything else you can think of as we are going to fill out the forms this week
can I buy the B.I. if we are both going bankrupt and the house is in Negetive equity buy 12k
Thanks guys

Posted - 18 November 2008 : 20:06:30 Can you choose the day you go bankrupt to avoid wages being frozen,
We don't really have any assets, so will they question that.
On the car, I will need one for work should I buy a decent run around before I go BR say from my CC and then give mine back or wait for the OR to take it then buy one with cash from the CC
I live in Cambridgeshire, what are the rules on freezing accounts
Can you make DD from a prepaid card and get wages paid on to the prepaid as well.
Paul is there a number you can be reached on to have a chat. |

Posted - 18 November 2008 : 09:23:27 It used to be that with a car on actual HP once you have made half the payments you can return the car with no further payments required and no further debt incrued.
It didn't make you popular but there was no come back. Not sure if it is still the same; anyone else know?
Here we go again... |
