Posted - 13 March 2009 : 15:01:18 Hi All S10 Here,
I have been given A BRU today, prior to BR discharge in June. I have had consultation with The OR, and as far as I can see, apart fronm not obtaining credit for 5 years,(a good thing really!) this is the only thing that has a major affect. As after BR discharge, the creditors have no claim to me and if I have increase in income or inheritance the OR has no claim to this either, even though a BRU is in force. AM I CORRECT or am I missing something? Any comments welcome S10 |

Posted - 13 March 2009 : 15:11:05 Thanks Suzanne, I cant see me being a school governer /MP/ or Company Director, so the positive is having to manage my money without credit. Not too bad really. Thanks again S10 |

No you are right. After the one year anniversary you are discharged from your debt, you just have the restrictions of bankruptcy that run on for the period of the BRU.
