i hav filled in my IPOQ and sent it off 2 week ago( aprox), after askin 4 advice on here i was informed that early discharge can take around 12 wks but the reason im confused is because i was told by OR that the documents for ED were bein sent off to court on the 28th april, i thought that the court date was the final stage and the process would only take a couple of wks after that ! can someone advise me on this please.

I am not too sure why the creditors would stop the ED unless it is either for spite or they think you are going to be able to pay some of the debt off.

Either way an ED should be seen as a bonus and just try to focus on the automatic discharge date.

I think that an ED is also dependant upon your creditors agreeing with it so it may be that one of them is not happy about your ED. Are you still on the Insolvency Register? The OR may be a bit busy and take time in sending any update so you can always contact them and ask them for an update.
