Posted - 11 June 2009 : 18:48:37 hi all
I had my OR interview a couple of weeks ago and i was informed that i dont have to pay an IPA, however, I will go onto a NT tax code which means my tax will be paid into my wages and then i pay £301 of this to the OR.
My questions is, I have recieved an IPA agreement today and it says that i am to pay £301 IPA for 36 months, is this correct? As the OR said my tax code would return to normal next April, so where am i supposed to find £301 from after that. Also thought i was only bankrupt for a year??!!
Is this correct or should i query it with OR?
Thanks
Jen

Posted - 12 June 2009 : 18:08:18 phoned them this morning, and the nice lady advised me not to sign as there seems to be some error as examiner has put me down as £301 surplus IPA for 36months instead of £301 Nil tax until April 2010!!
She has advised me to write tot he OR explaining this! So thats my job for tonight!
Cheers everyone! :) |

Posted - 12 June 2009 : 09:46:20 mm, maybe its an error, don't sign it but ring them up and ask them about it. Maybe they have re-looked at your figures and want a 36 months IPA, I don't know but do not sign it until you know what is what |

Posted - 12 June 2009 : 00:58:28 Hi Jelejo I would quereie this,if you have an IPA you must have agreed to this and signed the IPA, speak to your case worker it seems a bit short notice. All the best
