hi all

I had my OR interview a couple of weeks ago and i was informed that i dont have to pay an IPA, however, I will go onto a NT tax code which means my tax will be paid into my wages and then i pay £301 of this to the OR.

My questions is, I have recieved an IPA agreement today and it says that i am to pay £301 IPA for 36 months, is this correct? As the OR said my tax code would return to normal next April, so where am i supposed to find £301 from after that. Also thought i was only bankrupt for a year??!!

Is this correct or should i query it with OR?

Thanks

Jen

Hi Jelejo
I would quereie this,if you have an IPA you must have agreed to this and signed the IPA,
speak to your case worker it seems a bit short notice.
All the best

mm, maybe its an error, don't sign it but ring them up and ask them about it. Maybe they have re-looked at your figures and want a 36 months IPA, I don't know but do not sign it until you know what is what

phoned them this morning, and the nice lady advised me not to sign as there seems to be some error as examiner has put me down as £301 surplus IPA for 36months instead of £301 Nil tax until April 2010!!

She has advised me to write tot he OR explaining this! So thats my job for tonight!

Cheers everyone! :)

Hope you get it sorted out.
