Hello Ive been on a DMP with CCCS for the last 4 years, i have recently got divorced and am really struggling to manage. I sought legal advice from FA who adived my best option is bankruptcy and ive been looking into this and fee this is the right time to do it. I currently pay 126. pcm to cccs which will soon be cancelled so i can save for the fee. Im rather confused at whether i need to provide my bank statements etc as i cant see anything anywhere to say so ? also i already have a Co-op acct which i rarely use will this also be closed when the BR goes thru. what happens to mobile phone contracts ?? do these carry on ? do i pay my fee at the time of sending off the forms
hi and welcome to the forum lots of questions answers in order 1.the OR will want to see bank statements and will ask for them probably before or at the interview 2.if the COOP account is a cashminder basic account it will be OK if not it will likely be closed open a COOP cashminder account now before court 3.if you want to keep the mobile contract going do not list it on your SOA if you do they may well cancel it, if you don't then more often than not it is left alone 4.you pay the fee at the same time as handing in your forms on your day in court.
i would suggest that you have a free chat with one of the forum's professional experts to see if they can help you in any way or maybe consider alternatives to BR Paul John from RevivaUK www.revivauk.com is very good and is worth a call (links on the left of the page)
