scottish power has passed my debt over to LCS (im currently a discharged BR), they are asking for the debt to be paid in 4 monthly segments, £86 each month. i asked if i could provide proof of ly low income and come to an arangement, i was told i had to contact the citizens advice bureau, i work full time and this is not possible, could i not download a template for statement of earnings and provide payslips and proof of my £18 a week tax credit? many thanks |

Hi Andy
was the debt prior to bankruptcy if so do not pay send them your BR certification.
if after BR then keep negotiating, Once you have worked out the amount you can pay them, continue negotiating but pay the amount you believe is appropriate, at least the total is then being reduced.
regards Richard |

you can only pay what you can pay, the other option for them is that you go BR again and they get no money
yes they will still hastle you but if they came to court and you were paying a regular amount the judge would take your side (I Hope) |
