Help please we bank with Barclays and have no debt with them at court inunder a week do we need to open another account and do we need to inform Barclays that we are filing for BR
If you have no other debt linked to Barclays there is no reason why you cannot continue to operate the account.
I usually recommend that people do not list the acount in this situation on the bankruptcy forms, (as the forms really relate to all accounts where you owe money)When you eventually have your telephone appointment with the OR you can let them know that you have another account, and provide the details, this way you eliminate the risj of the account being frozen, (if this was to occur as it had been placed on the forms in error, the OR would unfreeze the account but this can take up to 5 working days, which would mean no access to your account ) The OR will have no problem with you not having the account entered on the forms
