sorry in advance if i go off on a tangent i am known for it :-) bit of background first:
basically i am filing for bankruptcy next month and i thought i only had two creditors one for 20k and other just a coupla hundred, till this morning when i received a letter saying i owed money to a water company nothing substantial but its the principle because i know i don't owe it as i didnt live at the house then. i spoken to company and they have said if i send off relevant proof that i didnt live there they will close my account from the actual date i moved out rather than the 4 months after date they are currently using therefore ensuing this debt! my question is do i bother doing that or just add it to my bankruptcy? i'm worried it'll look bad on my bankruptcy as if ive tried to run from paying a bill when i moved out if that makes sense?? argh more stress i really dont need!!

same suggestion as last time get everything up on the table, talk it through with an expert and work out the best option for you, it may not be bankruptcy but equally it may be

going BR for 20K is a frustrating amount it is just above the threshold for a debt relief order but it is a significant amount that is just out of grasp.

regards Richard
