I have a creditor called Barclaycard and they are giving me loads of grief, I have sent them a letter and an expenses form about my income/outgoings but they have said they are not prepared to accept the offer of monthly payments I wanted to give them.
What is the law on the required payment I can give them to shut them up and keep them quiet till I manage to save up my money for bankruptcy?
I heard that as long as I give them something they cant do anything, is this true?
I have already posted a question on here, but this is to do with the same thing to be honest and the reason why i am considering this option.
Thank you |

Hi there,
If you are really sure about filing for bankruptcy, then I wouldn't even bother negotiating a monthly payment with them. Just stop paying altogether and save the money you would have given them to put towards the bankruptcy fee. This will not stop them bothering you in the meantime, but until you go bankrupt, they will continue harrassing you anyway.

Well I have just today had some fantastic news,
I have been given a cheque for £500 and this is just what ive been praying for to go bankrupt.
Hopefully as well I will get the court fee knocked off because I get working tax credit, the first step is to fill in my bankruptcy form then ring the court for a date. |
