Myself and my husband have just received early discharged and I just wanted to ask now that we are discharged can we set up a bank account anywhere or do we have to stay with co-op. The co-op is a bit difficult to get to. We found out on the insolvency website about our ED, but will we get a letter from OR or is that it??
Yes you will get a letter from the OR. There are no restictions on bank accounts during or after bankrutcy. It is simply a case of who wants to give you an account and im afraid you will find it difficult for some time yet, no harm in asking around though. Just make it cear what your position is and see who will give you an account
