Hi,

As debtinfo has said, check with a call to your HR department.

Is there a clause in your contract of employment? Check that.

Clearly, as a BR, you are not a criminal, but there may be something to do with your job that prevents you carrying on your duties. I have known may professional people who are BR and have kept their jobs.

Do you work in finance? If so, that may have a bearing.

Good luck and post back when you have established what is what
