Picked up thevBankruptcy froms from the courts today. I am filing for bankruptcy as i have been advisec by numerous experts that this is the best option. I have around £22000 of unsecured debt (Credit cards + 1 loan). I have no assets except my car (only worth about £1500) and a 42" plasma tv which i bought for £450. My wife has debts of about £5000 which we are going to endevour to pay off, she has no assets, except her horse (bought for £1000) but kept as a pet.

Do you think these sound the best options??

thanks

Providing you have taken advice and are happy with this course of action.

Your car should be safe providing you need it for work. Does your wife pay for the upkeep of the horse as the OR won't allow more than £20 per month for a pet?

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!
