I am having a nightmare trying remove bankruptcy restrictions from the Land Registry.

I went bankruptcy in October 2008 and automatic discharge 12 months later. I paid the Beneficial Interest in my home in November 2009 and during the past 6 months have tried to get the restrictions, referring to my bankruptcy removed from the land registry. After getting advice and filling in forms and making telephone calls the restrictions are still in place.

Surely after paying the beneficial interest 10 months ago the trustee should have no further interest in my home, so why are the restrictions still in place.

I have been told to do this, that and the other, but no one seems to really know what to do next.

Does anyone out there really know for certain what to do in getting these restrictions removed. I have done so many things with regard to this problem during the last 6 months, that even I have forgotten what I have done.

Reviva UK have been working on my behalf for some time now to sort this out, but even they seem to be struggling with his.

Anyone any ideas?
