Hi and welcome to the forum. BR really isn't as painful as people think - I found that thinking about going BR was actually worse than actually going BR.
Do you have any assets that might be at risk if you went BR?

Hi Kels,
Welcome to the forum. I went BR on 20th July 2010, had 27k debts and was getting about 10 calls a day from creditors. After doing the deed it is actually such a relief, I was able to answer the phone and tell all the creditors and they haven't bothered me since. Filling in the forms is easy enough and there are many people on here that can give you lots of advice. Obviously you need to save your £600 for the actual process but the relief afterwards is immense and you can start afresh. Feel free to post any questions on here and I am sure you will be inundated with answers and advice.
Good luck.
Went Br 20th July 2010..countdown for 1 year. |

kels, you need to look at all the options available to you from advisers that are impartial to the debt industry. Please research bankruptcy first and make yourself a list of questions that can be answered. Its stressful enough being in debt but there is help for you out there, you are not alone.
