My husband and I have severe financial difficulties and our business has been losing money now for the last 14 months we are sole traders in importing wines, and have two shops on lease both with several years left on them which we have personal gurantees. We have unsecured debts of around £140000,and a business overdraft of about £32000 and rising, we employ three people, our property is valued at £320000 and we owe £295000. I am going back into my old employment as a social worker and my husband will go back to driving instructing. We live in Telford Shropshire and need some financial help and guidance to plan the way ahead we think that bankruptcy is our best option but want to be sure we are doing the right thing, there are too many questions to ask on the forum does anyone know of any companies in the Shropshire West Midlands area we can get help and advice

Hi
Lots to look at , discuss and and plan for. It is also a very sensitive and stressful time because the business has problems and this has probably been your baby for years

I would suggest you have a brief chat with one of the experts to at least give yourself some peace of mind and answer the burning questions that you certainly have.

What to do first , how to deal with the staff , what happens about cars, bank accounts , the home etc.

Distance is not a problem as personally i have already driven 1100 miles this week.

Phpne first to get your immediate questions answered

Kind regards

Paul

“A compassionate person develops an eye for spotting the qualities that make each person special. Even when others are at their lowest ebb, it is possible to help them restore their self-belief by keeping a firm, clear vision of their goodness and specialities. Taking a gently encouraging approach, I must never give up on anyone.”
