Changing jobs - decreasing salary.

Hello, Hoping someone can advise me on this as I am unsure what to do.

I am looking to possibly start a new position in the near future which is paying considerably less than I am earning now. With the new position I would have disposable income of less than £100. Is it still the case that I would no longer pay the IPA or has this now cPhanged? I have been paying £216 into my IPA for 11 months now.

I am only considering this as it sounds like an excellent job with brilliant prospects, local to home no more travelling into London.

My automatic discharge was due last Friday and I am hoping that when the website is back up I will no longer be on there!!

Sorry this is so long, any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,

R

Hi,
if you do change your job, and your income is greatly reduced, then you would have to contact the OR who is administering your IPA(more than likely an RTLU), so that your income/expenditure can be re-assessed. You would also need to inform Moonbeever, as if you suddenly stopped making payments, they would start chasing you.

If in your new job,you are left with less than £100 then it is likely that you may not have enough to continue with an IPA. You would of course have to show proof of the new job, salary etc.
