I declared br in NOV 2008, I had a mortgage with egg and paid PIP for about 10 years, I paid off the mortgage when I sold my home in 2007 and paid a lot of other debts off, but i did owe them on a credit card (6,000£)which was included in the br bankrupty- I have a severe mental health problem and didnt claim a penny from them when I was really ill in 2003 and had to retire in 2004 (not sure i would qualify for help and too ill to claim). I still paid all other creditors until 2008, and tried to arrange IVAs until i couldnt survive anymore and had to face up to it. Is there any chance of re-claiming the insurance I paid on this mortgage? It seems a desperate question but then i have nothing, and nothing to lose by asking. eg egg may still want paying for the credit card deb?t

No, even if there is a valid claim for miss selling that claim now belongs to the trustee of your bankruptcy
