In October 2009 my husband and I were declared bankrupt. In November 2010 our home was repossessed. We have just had a letter from the mortgage company's solicitors saying there is an anticipated shortfall/shortfall on the mortgate account and we have to propose full settlement in 14 days. This was included in our bankrupcty debts. We have also had a visit from a mortgage company representative wanting details of our income and expenditure. Can anyone tell us what is going on? We were discharged automatically after 12 months and thought all this was behind us.

I presume that you did not sign anything since the bankruptcy, if so just tell them that you are bankrupt, give them your court fer number and date and your OR's details
