Do I need to take any other forms (ie Credit card statements) to the court and do I need to pay the fee in cash? Many thanks.

Hi jinny

you need to take the Statement of Affairs ( 32 pages ) AND the Debtors Petition ( 2 pages ) to court.

The fee is 495 unless you are in london and it is just over 500.

all the other statements / etc should be made available to the Official Receiver and can be done after you have spoken to them

So if you dont need an appointment, you just turn up with 3 copies of forms 6.27 and 6.28 and thats it? What about your passport or other ID?

You don't need passport or ID because you are swearing on oath that you are who you say you are, so the forms you refer to and £495 cash for each applicant is all that you will need.

For an informal chat about any financial difficulties, or advice as to the options available, I can be contacted via my website - www.melaniegiles.com
