At last,15 months after submitting my papers to the company who dealt,5 months & 1 week after my court date, a brief telephone interview 4 days later & one additional query I`ve been discharged ! I can hardly believe it`s all over, a great wieght has been lifted ! So, what happens now ? Am I still monitored in any way for the next year or three years or whatever ? Do I need to let anyone know i`m discharged like landlord, bank, benefits departments etc ? Thanks to all those who reassured me and gave me advice during the process; it was good to know someone was there as I had no-one else to talk to. Everyone was right, of course, it was worth it for the eventual peace of mind, it just seemed to be taking forever at the time. I send my best wishes to those going through it now, God Bless You. That's great news mAZZ.
Do you have an IPA at all? Have you checked the Insolvency Register to make sure you are shown as discharged?
If so then I recommend printing off a copy of the page which states this in case you need it in the future, otherwise it will cost you about £70. |

Congratulations! If you have an IPA you have to let the OR know of any changes until it's finished but if not it's over!
As Niobe says make sure you print off a copy of the discharge notice from the insolvency register. I had to send this to Experian nearly 6 years later so keep a copy in a safe place!

The more I have to do with humans the more I think that the world would be a better place if it was run by animals.
Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side. |

I found the info of discharge on the insolvency register on Saturday (have copy !) & I`ve received a copy of the sealed court paper today, no IPA so I guess that is indeed it although I have to keep telling myself it is, at last, over ! Life begins (again !) at 64 !! Many thanks to everyone, good luck & very best wishes to you all. Mazz x
