I just wanted to know if my benefits would be affected if I went bankrupt? I am on ESA, child tax credit and child benefit.

Hi Deborah,

No bankruptcy would not affect your benefits.

Please make sure you speak to someone re debt advice to see what your options are.

As Viki says, please either give Viki a call or pop into your local CAB for some advice. This is free and you will be told about all options open to you.
