How is the family home affected as it is solely in my wifes name.

Hi Mark,

It really depends on why it's in your wife's name only and how much you've contributed to the mortgage and the property and lots of other things too.

Sometimes, it can be proven that you have no interest whatsoever in the property, but other times, the official receiver will want your share of any equity.

I suggest you speak to an expert for specific advice on this and your options.
