 will money be taken from my existing bank account?

if i have an existing bank account into which my wages are payed in to, what happens if i have any money in the account, will the money be taken?

Hi Donna and welcome,
From what I understand open declaring bantruptcy if you have a credit balance then yes the OR will want that money to pay towards your creditors.
You may want to with draw your money before BR then open an account the same day so that you can set up DD's etc, Coop cashminder are good and there are a few others out there that will give you just a basic account no frills.
I believe im right in what I have said if im wrong I dare say some will correct me.
