Hi everyone, I'm new to the site. Not gone Bankrupt yet, still leading up to it, so I'm currently in a right ol' pickle. Admittedly, most my own doing, but the bank certainly hasn't help matters by giving me a credit card and upping my overdraft.
I'm trying to work out my expenses for the forms and I've got a few questions. I am on Income support, by the way, and have 4 children.
Question 1 - Is a Sky TV subscription seen as a luxury? I don't have the full package, just the family package which cost £21 a month.
Question 2 - Is a mobile phone seen as a luxury item? I have a pay as you go phone, not contract, and I use around £15 per month on txt.
Question 3 - What is seen as a reasonable shopping bill? There are 6 of us and at a guess my shopping bill could be anything between £120 - £150 a week. I say 'at a guess' as I really don't know at the minute because I haven't been able to afford proper weekly shops, just bits and pieces to keep us ticking over. I'd really like to get back in to doing a 'proper' weekly shop once I'm debt free.
As you can imagine my head is buzzing with all sorts of stuff at the minute.
Thank you in advance.. This is a great site BTW

Hi and welcome, I dont know about the rest of your post, but the shopping and expenses I would clearly write what you actually spend. As for the other stuff put it in if you dont ask you dont get. Whats the worst they can so "NO", so I would certainly add it on, dont forget to add things like TV lic, el, gas, water etc etc. Take care JO
