on I&E would the or allow for a telephone and internet package, just thinking when i move next wk then i wont have anything installed at the new address. if i set it up would to or allow for this.
if not how does everyone else manage to access this site....cant do with not being able to access this site it is my life line.
Hi the OR will not allow the full package cost against expenditure.
He will accept the phone aspect but the TV and internet proportion would have to be met from the disposable income you retain for yourself each month.
The OR would also normally write to the package provider, the provider would normally be happy for you to continue in the contract whilst BR, providing as always, that the monthly subscription payments are met.
so would i better setting up a package prior to bankruptcy and listing it on the I&E as telephone and internet package and the or would just then deduct the tel part and the dif i would pay out of any surplus left....just if i tried to do this after bk companies may not accept me.......
On your SoA I would just list the telephone aspect of the deal and point out at interview that is what you have done. If you put the total amount, the OR will see the payments from your bank statements anyway, I'm always of the thought that he may try to discount the whole thing in the hope you may accept it thus increasing your DI.
If you list just the telephone cost and give your explanation, to me, it demonstrates that you understand the difference and know your rights re telephone charges thus reducing the possibility that the OR may "chance his arm" in an effort to secure an IPA.
