Hi there guys, not been about lately as we have been moving house and only just got broadband up and running.
Just checked my credit file and it has been searched twice by pricewaterhousecoopersllp, both time on 2nd October. (went BR on 10th Sept and there is a meeting of creditors on 20th November)
Does anyone know if the 2 are connected?
I was just wondering if we are going to have pwc appointed as trustees in BR?

hey HM

That sounds like my one, we were searched on the 5th August day after BR by Begbies Traynor (Debt) Collection activity.

So i am not too sure. Let us know how you get on.
How do you know there is a meeting of creditors, did they write to you.

LOL

Hi there Jo
Yes they wrote to me to inform me of the date and said that there was no need for me to attend but if I wanted to I had to let them know.
I am going to see what happens, (unless another of the experts on here advises me against attendance!!)
Pete

Hi Pete

I would give the helpline a call on that one, i think you need t know verbally and i cant help you with that one.

If i remember did you not have a business or lots of homes if you know what i mean, i answer so many peoples posts i forget where my head is. :-)

I am only asking as for myself and many on here they may be thinking that we should all get to know when the meeting is but i am pretty sure we dont its down to the type of case and assets involved. Is that right on yur part.

Im just trying to put others minds at rest otherwise we will have a panic on our hands with everyone saying OMG we did not get one of those, we did not get a letter about a meeting.

Thanks

Jo

Thanks for the answer Mark, good point.
Jo, yes we had a business and I have 6 houses in my name and have a share of some more. I am led to understand that mine is not a "normal" case so I dont think others will have to worry about creditors meetings etc. (I was hoping that the OR would keep my case "in house" but I think it is too complicated for them) I expect they have seen lots of houses and think that they will be able to get at some of the equity.
Its interesting to note that I have told the OR that I intend to send the keys to a couple of them back to the lender and they have asked me not to do so until after the creditors meeting!

Hi Jo,

I too had a credit search by "Begbies Traynor" the day after going BR. How weird is the connection between our experiences? lol
