HI all,
Had my interview on friday after they rang and cancelled the original one for the day before 3 hours before agreed time, not sure why but I think they are just to busy.
It seem to take forever, 2 and a half hours in the end and the last section seemed very rushed.
They focused on my failed partnership and why it had failed, a car that i disposed of 5/6 months earlier not for a lost I might add either but didn't seem happy about that?? They told me I would have to get someone to buy back the only road legal car we have, its an old audi with moon mileage and is worth no more than £300 to £400 but they want me to pay £80 to keep it, this I wasn't expecting but hey ho. grilled me over amount of debt in the time frame, don't think they had clocked i hadn't had an incoming for a year, they seemed to be more excepting when this was made clear. They asked for life insurance but that ok its not worth anything They barely spoke about allowances and said they would let me know if i'd get an IPA, but did make them aware that my incoming would reduce due to reductions in our working tax credits and that my tax code was incorrect and I wasn't paying enough tax at the moment. They seem to have mellowed by this time and pointed out that i hadn't put anything down for prescription or denist etc and that they would add them in for me. Asked about elecey bill and told me to send them in and they would include them into my BR, just send the bills in, they said they would be happy to include anything that i had forgot, just send them the bills. They explained this was the idea of BR, to give me a clean start with no debts.
They then explained when they would send out report to credits and that they would let me know if they could then discharge me.
so on the whole it seems to have gone ok just very long call.
Would have to say it did leave me with mixed feelings of relief that i'd got that over and done with but also almost self blaming as they had not been really, strange.
I'll post when I hear about IPA etc
Hope that helps anyone worrying about their interview
cheers D |
