Hi Mac

Yes the timeframe should be ok but again i would not worry about sending letters as if they are gonna pester you after then for payments they will and most of the creditors wont stop till they get the court ref and then its pot luck till the OR tells them and its filter through there systems.

It is up to you, but i did not and you dont have too.

LOL

Hi Mac

if you have decided to go Br then I am confused why you are going to make any payments in Dec.

If you have the ability to make the minimum payments then perhaps Br is not the right route.

Alternatively if you are makeing minimum payments with "their" money there seems little point in continuing.

You may be able to petition earlier or be able to save for the court fees more easily without this payment

hi paul,
only reason im paying bills in dec is that is the last month of my mortgage payment holiday...(4 months in total)im due to start paying again in jan, was kind of under the impression that if i didnt pay my other debts then it might be seen as preferential treatment????also i could do without the hassle over christmas, at least this way i wont start getting hounded untill the new year.
would the or have any problems if we were to not pay the dec bills? there is a house just come onto the rental market that we have taken a liking too(dont think itll be on the market long)

too late.... just cancelled my direct debits!
was just thinking about payment holidays...and it cant possibly be looked at as prefferential treatment, considering as im not actually paying it any way....just always planned to do it this way, at least now ive got a bit of cash to spend on the kids xmas!
oh well.... weve taken the first steps now, only sad thing is we know we wont have the money for br till feb what with xmas and rental costs...never mind, feel better for taking the first steps!!!
