What a Mess! In the lead up to going BR I have been forced to miss one payment to Sky Cards. I phoned them to say it would be paid this month, just to buy me time to submit my papers to the court offices, and I have to say the girl I spoke to was great. But, every day and about two or three times a day they phone me, or text me. Last night I had such a call and lost it with them. I know you all must have gone through the same things but I am finding it so very hard to deal with. I have not spoken to my wife about it because she has no idea of what bills we have and how much money is or is not available to us.
I have tried in the past to explain the situation but with no positive results. My marriage is all but over with no real way to get it back and it all comes down to money and the fact that we have never been able to buy our own home.

Hi David

Really sorry to hear about your stress at the moment.

I would however really encourge you to speak to your wife as this hidden problem is really damaging you.

You should take heart that this is not the best time to buy a house anyway and I suggest that the housing market will take 3 years to settle and up to 5 years to start moving again.

It is good that you have found the forum so you can at least get some support from here.

Morning David

I am also sorry to hear about what your going through right now. I know how it feels when you realy just want to crawl up into a ball and shut everything and everyone out. :-)

You should, if you can speak to your wife, that was part of my trouble, i could not speak to my hubby about what was going on and it nearly killed our marriage, we did get talking again and thats when the word BANKRUPTCY came up, as much as i was scared i knew something had to be done. I know i am not you, but sometimes its better to be honest. Thats my opinion only, ultimately its down to u in the end.

We just argued over the same thing over and over again, but money should not wreck your lives, try if you can to explain to her the situation it may as Paul has suggested help to ease the feeling of burden on you.

I do hope that you can get this sorted out for you both. I am sending big hugs over to you and i will keep reading and see if there is anything else that i can help you with. ;-)

Jo

Thank you both so very much, I am extremely grateful and must apologies for pouring my heart out. It is very stressful and I will be taking your advice. My wife and I do need to speak and I will make the effort to do so.
Jo, your sending of hugs to me actually brought tears to this old fools eyes.
Thanks
X
David

Oh David

I am here for you, i just wanted you to know that you are not alone, you never will be.

I do know how hard it is and i just wanted to say that if you ever want to talk to me it can be arranged that i can get my number to you via the helpline or admin.

Hey my friend, you must be strong and take control of your life, you only get one chance and you must make the most of every day.

LOL
