Hi everyone, i just wanted to let everyone know how my interview went this morning, It was arranged by phone for 8am, i was up at 6.10am, made a coffee, got my ciggies at the ready and set out my statement of affairs, had three poopydoos as i was very nervous, my mum decided to get up at 7.45 to fry the leeks off for the chicken soup she was making,,,,(ARRRRGHHHH) i sat in the lounge with my coffee and waited for the phone, at 8am on the dot, the phone rang, my heart was going so fast i thought i was going to have a coronary!!!! He was a lovely guy sounded quite young, and asked first of all if i had any questions, i asked him if i could include, my gas water, electric and council tax bill from my last property as i was now living with my parents, he said yes that was fine and took the details.I also asked him about the nil tax code and he said as it was so near the year end i probably would not have one, and on the 6th April it would revert back to my normal code anyway, I also asked him about a disaccociation letter from my parents, as i was living at their addres and the halifax had wrote a nasty letter to my dad saying they had frozen his account (we are both M in our initials)they had made a huge mistake, he told me to ring the court, he could not help, All this chatter took about 15 minutes. He then asked me about my secured loans, unsecured etc, dates of certain things, and if i was not sure it did not matter, as he could find the information,He said his only slight concern was me getting a house early 2007 when i was struggling, but i explained that i did the house up and put it on the market, to get funds to help pay off some of my debt, but the housing market fell, i think he was ok with this in the end, the other thing he said was he would have to clarify with an ex boyfriend, we had a house together over 10 years ago, and i left the property, the mortgage owing was 40k approx and that is what the house was valued at, he maintained the mortgage payments on the house for 10 years, and asked me 18 months ago if i would take my name off, so i did as i felt he had maintained it for all those years and the equity was not mine,6 ciggies later, the interview was coming to an end and he asked me when i really started to struggle and what did i do about it, i just explained as a single parent all my life. without maintenance or government help, i had always worked full time, a failed relationship and losing my job i just could not find a way out, he then said he was going to write a report, one for the creditors and one for his BOSS (The OR).He was going to apply for early discharge inbetween 6 & 9 months, and he would write to me if he needed any further info but as far as he was concerned thing were all above boards. I just wanted you all to know, as a little bit of help to ease the burden. I hope teh worst is over for me now and i can have some peace and happiness. Michelle
