hopefully im going bankrupt by end of march but im worried sick what the court will think. i basically spent thousands 'comfort spending' as i was in a court case with my ex from september 2005 to march 2007 after she told wicked evil lies and accussed me of awful things. thankfully when it eventually went to trial i proved my innocence as evidence dosent lie...people do. it was only then that i realised my debt situation. will the courts take this into account? thanks a desperate and scared tim.
We have all 'comfort spent' during our timre pre-br at one point or another, and im pleased that the 2 years were worth it in the end for you.
The clerk at the court will go over your soa to check you have not missed anything out (im sure they have seen alot of cases like ours and very little will shock them). The judge will also look over your soa before you go into them, so they may ask a couple of questions when you go to see them to be declared br. Normally people are in with the judge for a matter of minutes and the build up and fear of the unkown is far more scary than the real thing.
You will get through it - i promise Jenny
Onwards and Upwards is the way im going :-0)
From "Moneyworries" to "Movin On" in 3 months is fantastic :-))
