i,ve got a date for my br hearing feb 23 should i tell my creditors when they phone this info or not (all are credit cards)

Hi

it's ok to tell them but the phone calls and letters are inlikely to stop until you have actually declared bankruptcy and they have been contacted by the Official Receiver

hi thanks for advice is it ok to put my wages into my wifes account till the hearing and whats the best to do about a bank account after

Yes it will be ok to use your wife's account.....At the moment its Coop Cashminder all the way. They are very br friendly

hi E1, my date is feb 27 i was also wondering about this, creditors are constantly ringing, a couple managed to get a few pounds from me i have stated to most of them that i may be using an IVA or DMP should i just tell them im going BR soon,do they have time to do anything? a couple of our debts are up to date with no missed payments, thanks v much

I would say that there would not be enough time for them to do anything as you are only a matter of weeks away from your date. If you feel like you want to tell them that is.

I would like to add that paying one creditor over another will be seenas preferencial, you will be ok as its only a few pounds, however now you know your going br i would not pay them anything.

It is up to you if you decide to tell them - depends how brave you are feeling on the day i guess
