My husbands income consists of a War Pension and a Medical Naval Pension. In bankruptcy would these be counted as the War Pension is a State Benefit and the Naval Pension is tax free and given for a medical discharge.

Hi

generally pensions, other than personal, are not claimed by the OR in bankruptcy.

However the monthly receipts from the pension would be classed as income when the OR is looking into the possibilty of imposing an IPA.
