Hi all. We (hubby & me) started an IVA 3 years ago so we have a very simple joint Nat west solo account. We now have to go bankrupt. All our income and direct debits go via this account, should we open a co-op account online (there are no branches anywhere near us), or do you think we will be able to continue with this account when we go BR? Great forum by the way, I know I will have loads more questions to post... Sarah
The coop cashminder is one of the best accounts to have while br. You could always ask your bank if they are prepared to keep it open -it will be down to the bank and not the or.
You will have to phone the coop to open the account, however you can use post office to pay money in and take money out. You also get online banking with the account. I dont live close to a branch, had my account since october and never had a problem
Good luck
Jenny xx
