in pickle bout expenses/income.
i moved into a rented property in july 08 with my new partner.we intended to pay half each.but a few weeks later i lost my job and have been unemployed ever since.i am claiming jsa contributions based but this runs out in feb 09. because i live with partner who works full time (only brings home £810 a month mind!!) i can no longer claim from that date. i have started filling in the forms. my court date aint till 3rd of march when i will no longer be claiming 60.50 per week, i''ll have nothing.

1) how to i fill in the form? do i put the situation now or what i expect it to be in march after contributions run out?

2) at the moment i use ALL my JSA for housekeepin such as cleaning, food etc and he pays all rent, poll tax, water etc out of his wage, out of his bank account. would i put this down in additional income / other contributions and then put how much rent etc is paid, so everything is filled in or should i leave his contributions out and just include my income of JSA and just put the 242.00 per month in housekeeping section.

the thing is i dont want him paying towards ipa etc especially as i didnt know him when i got this debt and it was built up with someone else and he is personally debt free!! lucky boy!!

he''s been really supportive but i dont want him financially struggling because of me. at the moment we cant afford insurance for the contents of our home so our things are not protected and we cant even afford dog insurance or injections for our dog. all his wage and all my jsa allows us to live in our flat with no luxuries - no haircuts, holidays, socialising etc. nothing. doesnt really bother me - i just want to be debt free and put the past behind me without affecting my new partner... although once the jsa stops i dont know what will happen

Hi

1) the forms must represent your situation as at the day you go to court so your income & benefits would then be zero.

2)As I think I have answered in another thread, you cannot have an IPA imposed when you declare bankruptcy if you have no form of income or benefit payments. If the situation were that your partner's income was £5K a month it would make no difference, you would still not get an IPA.
