Quick question, if after your OR interview you have an IPA and in the following months your income drops to below the level that the IPA covers, would this mean that the IPA would be stopped and also if this is within the first 12 months prior to discharge does this mean that the IPA would be stopped or would our income still be monitored for the full 3 years?
many congrats on your new arrival, quite a size!!!
Once you are in an IPA it will mean that your I&E will need to be monitored for 3 years whether it starts pre or post discharge.
Each and every time your circumstances in respect of I&E changes you are legally bound to notify the OR for reassessment and likely variation. The key therefore if it is at all posiible is to get discharged before an IPA can be proposed.
Rightly or wrongly I have known many in your situation delay their return to work until post discharge for this very reason.
It's the moral issue again and the decision of each and every individual bankrupt.

Hi there John,
Many thanks for the reply, I thought as much, just wanted to check.
Yes she was a good size! It was quite a shock to say the least, especially as our first daughter was only 7lbs 13oz!
