please could someone advise. the stage im at now is - got the order, got my OR telephone interview in two weeks, please could you tell me does the OR inform or post an order to all my creditors and let them know that im bankrupt or does it just go on the london gazette and they will automatically get the information then, how long does this take? its just that ive been receiving alot of calls and not answering because they are so persistent and the minute you say bankrupt it turns into a problem so i dont feel i can speak to them. is it advisable for me to send them a copy of my order?
thanking you in advance |

Hi Helen
Now the OR has all your creditors details they will be writing out to them. It does sometimes take a while for the creditors to update their systems so the calls may go on for a little while longer.
If your creditors request details of the bankruptcy you can just give them your court reference and the name of the OR's office dealing.

hi suzanne or anyone there, ive received my questionnaire from the OR ive filled in them, got all my statements ready, question
is it ok to put in online statements? as i cant find some paper ones that get sent in the post, ive got 90 percent of the documentation requested. some things are missing and am going to write a letter to explain when i moved house i lost some paperwork. hope this is not a problem. im feeling nervous for my interview but i know i just got to get through it and just be honest, im so embarassed with my debt situation im not sure what to say to the OR in the interview, i guess i just have to answer each question the best i can hey? right now i have no confidence

I didn't have all my statements but it wasn't a problem. I sent what I had, and printed off internet statements. If the OR needs anything else they can get it from your creditors.
I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about the interview. Mine really wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The examiner asked me to explain how come I was in so much debt, and I found it useful to have a copy of my SOA in front of me. She also asked me what my loans had been used for, but didn't really go into what I'd used the credit cards for. If you have a look at my blog I've posted about my interview.
My main advice would be to be honest with the examiner (I'm not suggesting you wouldn't be!) and if you don't know the answer to something just say so.
Good luck xxx
