I'm not sure that the IS do know about the site but would suspect that the DTI does.
In the last few months no less than 13 debt related websites have been closed down by the DTI due to their objectionable and often inaccurate content.
In light of the fact that most of the time this site is page one google I have no doubt this one has been monitored too.
It therefore bodes well that they have not felt the need to comment one way or the other.
As for the IR they are just doing their job in representing the creditors using the appropriate legislation. All this site does is make a lot more people aware of that same legislation. We just have a different prespective.
Hi John I do know that the Insolvency Service would never be able to answer these queries as they are so snowed under with their casework. But thanks to everyone here I am sure a lot of people have been able to sleep easier in their beds. There is nothing worse than continually staying up half the night worrying about this or that scenario and then when you do finally get to sleep you end up dreaming about it too ... no escape until I found this site so :
Oh how interesting so they do know (Official Receivers) about this site ... well I am really glad they do ... you all deserve this recognition and should be acknowledged for your professionalism and honesty ... you are not afraid to tell it how it is! I know I found it difficult to face up to the reality and you made me realise that I had to in the end.
I wonder if the Insolvency Service knows
