Hi there if you are referring to the fee for filing for bankruptcy - the fee has increased to £510 (£360 for the Official Receiver and £150 for the Court fee) If you contact your local court where you would be filing for bankruptcy they will inform you of the various reductions avaiable for certain benefits. If you have an utility bill in your name have a chat with your local Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) as they administer voucher scheams for various utility companies which will fund the wholecost of bankruptcy.
Hoe much do you owe? If under £15k you may qualify for the new Debt Relief Order (DRO) fee £90 To apply for this you again have to contact your local CAB for an appointment with their Money Advisor

Incidentally as of early April the fees are £510 not £495.
I would call the local court at which you will be required to declare bankruptcy to ask this question. The reason being that £360 is the Official Receivers fee which must be paid full stop.
The balance £150 is the court fee and you can get a reduction of up to 100% in this part depending on which benefits and allowances you are claiming. Each court has their own policy so there is not a general rule throughout the UK as to which benefits qualify for what % reduction that I could quote you.
